1. Ethics of scientific and artistic work 2. Bachelor thesis and its structure (topic, content, objective, structure) 3.-4. Sources and citation (e.g., university library services, FUD UJEP guidelines and instructions for final theses), working with literature (selection, citation, paraphrasing) 5. Source research 6. Presentation of the bachelor thesis project and initial data and information 7. Challenges in writing the bachelor thesis (common mistakes, style, formatting) 8. Bibliography and chosen methods 9. Methodology (subjective vs. objective methods, qualitative vs. quantitative, analysis vs. synthesis, induction vs. deduction, abstract vs. concrete, detail vs. whole) 10. Abstract, introduction and conclusion, visual appendix, working with documentation for the bachelor thesis 11.-12. Consultations and evaluation of outputs

Learning outcomes
The seminar focuses on the effective and timely completion of final theses in the bachelor?s degree program, emphasizing the integration of practical outcomes with theoretical foundations and refining the written component of the bachelor?s thesis. It targets the preparation and processing of supporting materials (based on the individual focus of each student) with an emphasis on working with information and applying basic methodologies from the humanities and arts disciplines. The seminar primarily aims to familiarize students with the rules for working with academic literature, supports the development of individual concepts through seminar consultations, and provides a platform for the continuous presentation of progress and results.
The acquired competencies represent the mastery and application of knowledge in the given field, based on the specific course description and aimed at fulfilling the graduate profile.
