Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the production and post-production of static images. Students will learn to safely operate a professional digital camera and its accessories. They will be introduced to the basics of photographic studio operation and equipment, as well as the work of a photographer in the field. The course also covers basic post-production techniques, including analysis, sorting, and archiving of photographic materials. Students will become familiar with methods of printed and online presentation and marketing. Upon completion of the course, students will have an understanding of the processes involved in a creative photographic project and will be able to independently handle a simple commercial photographic project, such as product photography, event photo documentation, archive work, basic post-production, and preparing photographs for online publication. During the seminars, students will explore the work of prominent figures in contemporary domestic and international applied and fine art photography, the use and integration of the photographic medium with related fields, and current trends in photography.
The acquired competencies represent the mastery and application of knowledge in the given field, based on the specific course description and aimed at fulfilling the graduate profile.
