In this exam, students are expected to demonstrate a general overview of the history of visual arts, photography and new media. Furthermore, they should demonstrate an understanding of the basis of the relationship between art and society, various developmental artistic tendencies and currents of thought. The content of this exam is mainly the interpretation of global developments, but also the contextualization of the Czech art environment in a wider cultural framework.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
