The study subject Professional practice follows the courses Curatorial Workshop I?IV. It provides students with the opportunity to actively work in gallery operations, directly in an institution focused on regular exhibition activity. During practice students deal with the preparation of exhibition presentations, grant preparation, lecturing activities, organizational activities and production issues associated with these activities. Practical involvement in the process of preparing an art presentation brings students a number of valuable experiences and adds to their portfolio of work skills. The acquisition of theoretical knowledge, which this practice will bring them, is also a non-negligible benefit. Cooperation with gallery or museum institutions is primarily expected, but cooperation with activities focused on interventions in public spaces and alternative or activist non-gallery spaces and cultural centers is also possible.
