Learning outcomes |
In recent years there has been tremendous development of new materials and technologies. Focus metallurgy and technology of metal materials has changed from the traditional approach of quantitative production to more or less empirical level to design new technologies based on scientific knowledge. The graduate should therefore be given the necessary physical foundation for successful participation in technological issues in practice in order to successfully participate in the development of new metallic materials and optimal technologies. The physical basis but should be broad enough to be able to easily and quickly adapt well to similar issues in other areas of engineering solids. There is an emphasis on understanding the principles and possibilities. Part of the exercise are as basic calculations and measurements and laboratory measurements in laboratories
