Course content
1. Introduction to CAM applications, the possibility of their use, types 2. CAM - creating 2D geometry, 3. CAM - retrieving 3D models and work with them 4. CAM - rectangular turning, turning to profile 5. CAM - turning - adjustment and optimization program 6. CAM - milling, 2.5D milling, basic milling operations 7. CAM - milling, multi-axis machining, modification and optimization program 8. CIM, CAD and CAPP: inclusion, mutual relations and individual elements; 9. TPV and CAPP systems

Learning outcomes
The course extends the technical knowledge of programming, introduces the creation of the product on numerically controlled machines, shows the possibility of production automation and acquaints students with some type of CAM software. Further extends the knowledge in support of technical work and especially in factories (CAPP). The aim course is to acquaint with other options generations NC program using CAM (CAD / CAM), the importance of CAPP and acquisition of relevant skills

Prerequisites
Students will learn with the features and use of CAM (CAD / CAM) systems, the a way to create NC program with the meaning and use of CAPP systems and gain practical experience in creating technology using computer technology.
