Anotace: This subject presents modern production technologies of metal processing. It includes an overview of the properties and classification of metallic materials, an introduction to foundry with a historical overview, an examination of various methods of casting and mould making, powder metallurgy, composite materials, thermal and chemical-thermal processing, and surface engineering. This course provides students with a comprehensive awareness of manufacturing technologies based on metal processing and their application in an industrial environment. Témata přednášek a cvičení: 1. Overview of production technologies based on metal processing, properties and distribution of metal materials. 2. Introduction to foundry and a brief overview of historical metal processing. 3. Foundry as a production process. 4. Progressive casting technology. 5. Progressive mould manufacturing technology. 6. Powder metallurgy. 7. Composite materials. 8. Heat treatment. 9. Chemical-heat treatment. 10. Surface engineering.
