Learning outcomes
In technical practice, the material is exposed to a number of influences that cause its deterioration, corrosion and thus degradation. Knowledge of the method of degradation and prevention of environmental influences is an important factor in the design of structural units. In automotive and aerospace technology, a lot of space is devoted to the issue of corrosion. The aim of the course is to understand the basic mechanisms of corrosion products, to differentiate individual corrosion manifestations and attacks.
