Course content
|
1. The establishment and use of metallography in examining the structure with the help of microscopes and interpretation of microstructures. 2. Metallographic testing methods - optical, electron and laser microscopy, differences and possibilities of use. 3. Confocal laser microscopy - principle and possibilities of use, advantages of use. 4. Principle and possibilities of laser 3D display without and with color display. Display of the surface and defects on the surface. 5. Use of the AFM module in laser microscopy. 6. Examples of the use of laser microscopy.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject discusses the differences between a light microscope, an electron microscope and a confocal microscope, the use of different light sources. It deals with the essence and use of the confocal microscope, as well as with the possibilities of the individual types of microscopes mentioned above and their position and use in the examination of material.
