Generally, production engineering is a set of technologies zpracujících materials on various products. Most commonly processed materials in engineering the metals and their alloys, therefore, requires knowledge of the material, physical, mechanical and technological properties. The goal is to provide students with knowledge of the structure and properties of metallic materials, as well as influencing the processes of thermal properties and mechanical processing.
Students will gain basic knowledge about the structure, properties, methods of thermal and chemical-thermal treatment of iron-based alloys and will be familiar with this issue. They will gain practical experience in evaluating mechanical properties using appropriate standards and measuring equipment.
