The course deals with the development of composite materials, the nature and division of composite materials into basic types, characteristics, properties, composite materials. It also deals with variables defining the properties of composites, the structural distribution of composites and the relationship between matrix types and reinforcement. A significant part of the course is devoted to production technologies and various applications of composites in transport in the aviation, automotive and chemical industries, healthcare and other industries.
Students acquire skills and knowledge in the field of development, characteristics and types of composites used.
