The course introduces students to an introductory introduction to selected groups of promising materials that are made using nanotechnology and are referred to as nanomaterials. The aim is to acquaint students not only with their physical and chemical nature, but also with new structural elements and devices for their study, as well as with a wide range of applications. In the second part, the course deals with biomaterials, respectively. biocompatibility, in connection with the application of advanced materials in biomedicine. The links between the two groups most associated with biosystems are also shown.
