The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the possibilities of increasing the efficiency and productivity of work in the relationship between man, equipment and environment. The main focus of the course is on ergonomics and anthropometry, economics of movements, improvement of the working environment and rationalization of work through the analysis and measurement of work.
The student gains an overview of the possibilities of workplace optimization, reduction of physical demands, improvement of the working environment and work safety, increase of efficiency and productivity of work. They will learn to set time consumption standards in connection with the work process and the environment.
