Learning outcomes
The course is focused on theoretical aspects of construction technology. Course contents: 1. Integrated approach to design and realization of engineering product. 2. General principles of construction technology: Production costs, labor intensity, part material, semi-finished and minimized machining, series production and construction-technological standardization, shapes of parts in terms of inserting into the workspace and tool movement, number of fixtures, technological bases, dimensions and tolerances, length of parts, product reliability and maintenance costs, resp. recycling, patents and licenses. 3. Principles of construction technology in machining on conventional machines. 4. Principles of construction technology in machining on numerically controlled machine tools 5. Principles of construction technology of weldments. 6. Principles of casting construction technology. 7. Principles of forging technology technology.
