Technical characteristics of the tool, construction of grinding tools, shapes and types, use. Tool clamping, strength and permissible working speed. Grain materials, properties, classical and new materials, wear mechanism. Bonding grinding wheels, properties, importance. New materials and systems, development of materials and tools, their properties and utilization. Testing of grinding wheels.
