The subject of Destructive material testing deals with a comprehensive description of methods and methods of material testing in which the test specimen is destroyed. The content of the course is to acquaint students with the methods and methods of material testing, used to determine the mechanical, chemical, physical and other properties. Part of the course is also to acquaint students with the devices used for destructive testing of materials. In addition to the actual methods of destructive testing of material, the content of the course is also to acquaint students with the specifics of sample preparation for individual types of tests. Course contents: 1. Division of destructive testing of materials. 2. Norms and standards used in the field of destructive testing. 3. Suitability of individual types of destructive tests for specific applications. 4. Preparation and character of samples for individual destructive tests. 5. Evaluation of destructive material tests. 6. Testing of mechanical properties of material. 7. Analysis of chemical composition of material. 8. Stress analysis in material. 9. Cyclic material testing. 10. Demonstration of practical examples and solved problems in the field of destructive testing of materials. 11. Comparison of destructive and non-destructive testing of materials.
