Course content
1. Introduction to the specific requirements of the quality management system of suppliers of serial products to the automotive industry. 2. Basic terms and principles used in the quality management system of suppliers to the automotive industry, the extension of process management and risk management. 3. Specific methodologies used in the field of quality management system of suppliers to the automotive industry (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D Report, FMEA, control plans, etc.). 4. Interpretation and understanding of the superstructure new standards IATF 16949: 2016 - Context of the organization (Chapter 4), Leadership (Chapter 5), Planning (Chapter 6), Support (Chapter 7), Operation (Chapter 8) , Performance Evaluation (Chapter 9), Improvement (Chapter 10). 5. Procedure for the implementation of additional requirements of the quality management system for suppliers to the automotive industry in accordance with the requirements of IATF 16949: 2016 standards. 6. Methodology and use of internal audits of the system, product and process - methodology of standards ISO 19011: 2018, VDA 6.3: 2016 (Czech edition 2017) and VDA 6.5: 2008 (Czech edition 2009), customer and supplier audits. 7. Product safety and product liability. 8. Integration and improvement of the management system with other components of the supplier's management in the automotive industry. 9. Requirements of customers from the automotive industry - examples of specific requirements and their fulfillment, focus on the design and development of the production process, teamwork, cross-sectional assessment. 10. Presentation of examples of projects from the automotive industry and quality assurance of serial deliveries.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the requirements of the IATF16949: 2016 standard for a quality management system for serial suppliers to the automotive industry and to teach them the procedures for implementing and improving these systems. Students will learn to use standard methodologies used in the automotive industry, such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D Report, FMEA, control plans, etc.
o The student knows the requirements of the IATF 16949: 2016 standard and is able to apply them in the quality management system of the supplier to the automotive industry o the student is able to coordinate the extension of the quality management system from the level of the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard to the level required in the automotive industry according to the requirements of the IATF 16949: 2016 standard o The student knows and is able to apply standardized quality management methodologies used in the automotive industry (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D Report, FMEA, control plans, etc.).
