Learning outcomes
The subject acquaints with the mechanism of the welded metallurgy and provides an insight into the connection between the influence of welding parameters and changes in the structure of the welded material, resp. with degradation processes in relation to processes of welded materials, induced by temperature-deformation cycle. Welding / surfacing terms are introduced, principles of individual methods of welding, soldering and thermal cutting are described and information about weldability of the most commonly used construction materials, metallurgy of welding joint in relation to welding process control welding). Attention is also focused on the ongoing thermal deformation cycles (internal stress), respectively. solution of temperature field during welding / surfacing, as well as numerical analysis and computer software applications for welding processes.
