The aim of the course is to deepen the development of basic knowledge of production processes, the ability to respect the state and development of production, designing and planning workplaces. The student acquires the following knowledge including the phases of technological designing: the essence of the production process, capacity calculations, computerized production support (CAx), principles of spatial arrangement of machines and workplaces including designing operations, workshops, priority in solution ergonometric, anthropometric, hygienic and safety, organization and arrangement of assembly with regard to the structure of assembly activities, type of production, degree of automation. The study also includes knowledge of the concept of designing workplaces for technological and energy operations, auxiliary operations, storage and supply space, as well as examples of designing workplaces for quality control, testing, dispatch, designing production and processing plants (technological production plants, energy operations and distribution) .
