Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the following areas: Principles of solving experimental problems (planning, execution and evaluation of experiments). Experimental study: Shape of chips, chip formation, surface layer strengthening, residual stresses in surface layer, force effects, machining vibrations, thermal effects, cutting edge cutting, experimental determination of optimal tool wear during roughing and finishing, experimental dependence determination durability at cutting conditions, experimental determination of machinability of material and tool cutting.
