Course content |
1. The basic definition, adjacent technologies, nomenclatures, base of welding metallurgy. Weldability, generally conditions, welding material. Technological condition of welding construction. 2. Fusion welding - arc welding, submerged arc welding, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW, electroslag welding, oxy-acetylene welding. 3. Pressure resistant welding - spot welding, seam welding, projection welding, .... Special methods of welding. 4. Structure of welding, thermal cycle, welding stress and deformation, influence on material, heat treatment of weldments. 5. Welding defect - shape defect, defects of properties, testing of weldments: principles, test sensibility. 6. Tests welded joints - destructive a non-destructive methods. 7. Adjacent technologies, welding of casts, filler materials. 8. Component renovation of building up by welding. 9. Quality of welds, personal norm, certification, documentation. 10. Economic of welding, material flow, influence of construction and welding methods, method of cost calculation. 11. High effective welding methods in mass production.

Welding is one of financial low - costing and widely used technology. That is not expendable by create different constructions - weldments. The knowledge about it is important for both control and work of constructers, workshop practice. The aim of this subject is to obtain technical knowledge, technological procedure, father the observance quality welding constructions and their economic evaluation.
