Learning outcomes
This course is aimed at getting across the basic idea of what are knowledge sharing and knowledge driven organisations. Among others, the intention is to educate students to knowledge sharing, to teach them to implement knowledge management tools in companies, to lead knowledge employees as well as to use tools for intellectual capital evaluation. After the successful course completion, students will be able to share knowledge and to work with knowledge in companies. Furthermore, they will learn how to implement the knowledge management tools in companies, to coordinate the tasks of knowledge management employees; respectively to become such specialists themselves.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: - divide data, information and knowledge and to distinguish them according to the type of company; - define the company's information needs; - use selected knowledge information systems; - define requirements for the enterprise's knowledge information system.

Participation in the seminars is recommended but not compulsory (except for the presentation). Students will prepare and deliver a presentation within the scope specified by the instructor focused on knowledge management trends (max. 50 points). Final test (max. 50 points). The requirements will be specified in the first lecture. Course result will be awarded according to the total score in the range of 0-100 points based on the following grading scale: 60 - 100: Pass 0 - 59: Fail
