Course content
1. Characteristics of the thesis, examples of bad and good examples. 2. Presentation of individual topics by students (topic, sources, literature, method, structure of the thesis). 3. Presentation of individual topics by students (topic, sources, literature, method, structure of the thesis). 4. Preparation for the thesis defence. 5. Practical practice of the defence, evaluation.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to enable continuous consultation, discussion of the topics of individual theses and review in the final stage of thesis development, which should contribute to the creation of optimal conditions for the creation of quality theses. The students present their methodological procedures, interim results and thesis conclusions during the seminar. Preparation for the defence is an important part of the course. At the end of the seminar, the students present their work (sources used, research plan, results, etc.). The teaching is cumulated into five blocks in order to create a space for the creation of final theses, the rest of the teaching is devoted to individual consultations and is available to students for the preparation of the final thesis.
The student will learn how to proceed correctly in writing a thesis. The student will be able to cite correctly, to place the thesis in a theoretical framework and to use possible methodologies correctly.

Assessment methods and criteria

Presentation of the intention of the thesis, methodological background and the concept of the thesis, checking the itinerary of the final version of the thesis, regular consultations with the thesis supervisor. Requirement for credit: recommendation and approval of the supervisor on the basis of checking the status of the thesis preparation.
