Learning outcomes
The course introduces students to the issue of populist radical right in Central Europe. In the first part of the course, students will be introduced to selected conceptual and analytical framework for the study of populist radical right in Central Europe, i.e. its relation to the minorities, European Union or environment issues. In the second part, students will be introduced to the history and specifics of the populist radical right in selected Central European countries. At the end of the course, students will present their own research on the populist radical right in Central Europe.
Students will become familiar with the basic theoretical concepts of the populist radical right. Students will be able to describe the specifics of the populist radical right in Central Europe. Students will become familiar with the main populist radical rights parties in Central Europe.

Assessment methods and criteria

To successfully complete the course, students are required to participate actively in seminars, write two position papers, and submit a group seminar paper.
