Course content
1. The mission and ideological starting points of public administration organizations. 2. Law, legislation and standards. 3. Responsibility, control and ethics in public administration. 4. Management of public administration organizations, education. 5. Strategic planning and public economy and finance. 6. Informatics and information systems in public administration. 7. Public organizations in the context of international law and the EU. 8. Key topics for the activities of public administration organizations. 9.-12. Practice.

Learning outcomes
The course represents a series of individual seminars on the functioning of public administration and self-governemnt, its functions and copmetences. The basic goal is to give students a picture of the functioning of the current model of public administration, especially local self-government. Emphasis will be placed on the introduction of individual components of public administration and self-government, their structure and competencies. An important part of the course is the opportunity to get acquainted with the practical performance of public administration and self-government in the form of practice in a selected organization of public administration or self-government.
The student will gain knowledge about the functioning of local administration and self-government, the performance and competences of their bodies. They acquire knowledge about the structure of the system of public administration and self-government. He will acquire practical skills from the fungcitoning of public administration and self-government.
