Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to master the principles of academic writing and proper professional expression within the academic community. Emphasis is placed on getting acquainted with an overview of the content rules of individual types of professional texts, as well as the formal and typographic principles. The result should be the greatest possible effectiveness of the presentation of the results of our own research.
The student is able to use professional terminology. The student is able to distinguish different types of academic outputs. The student is able to choose an adequate theoretical and methodological framework for writing specific academic outputs. The student is able to formulate the objectives of the work and adequately present the findings of the work. The student is able to work with electronic sources of academic texts and citation databases.
