Course content
The Construction of Social Reality (1996). 5 to 7 Criticism and enhancements: Moural (2002, 2008), Smith (2003). 8 to 10 Searle's theory nowadays: Making the Social World (2010). 11 to 13 The Usage and Prospects: Popper, North, Weinberger, Mlčoch.

Learning outcomes
The topic of the course is Searle's institutional theory and its using. The interpretation is primarily based on Searle's work The Construction of Social Reality (1995) and its subsequent corrections and enhancements. At the end of the course the prospect of Institutionalism in political philosophy, theory of law and economics will be added.
Student will be able to teach the topics from the course in the extent of about 240 minutes. Student will be familiar with Searle's theory and be well informed about the use of institutional theory in the juridical, economic and political theory.
Prerequisites
Ability to read in English.

At the exam student must have a good knowledge of lectures and knowledge based on readings in the extent of about 350 pages.
