1. Introduction to the current situation in Ethics and Meta-ethics (text: R. Rorty). 2. The acts and types of its evaluation; traditionalist and natural concept of morality 3. Moral judging and moral affection; obligation and goodness. 4. Kantian moral concept and its reworking by Tugendhat. 5. - 6. Kant and Grounding for the Metaphysics of Morals 1 to 2 7. Discourse ethics. Ethics of compassion, The Animal in Ethics, unborn life. 8. Counter-Enlightenment Ethics. 9 to 10 Virtue Ethics and its integration into the Tugendhat concept. 11. Utilitarianism. 12. Human rights and justice. 13. Summary of interpretation; the use of ethics; ethics and politics.

Learning outcomes
|
The topic of the course is contemporary situation in Ethics and Meta-ethics. The interpretation is based on the concept of Ernst Tugendhat, presented in his Lectures on Ethics (2004).
Student will be able to prepare lesson plans in the extent of about 360 minutes based on course topic and continue to study individually the primary and secondary literature on the topic. The student will get oriented in the main ethical concepts and objections against them, and know well Tugendhat's concept.

At the exam student must have a good knowledge of lectures and knowledge based on readings in the extent of about 300 pages.
