Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic methods of empirical social research sciences and show its use in practice. They will acquire professional competence in the field of qualitative, quantitative and combined methods, which will be able to use qualified in the preparation thesis, but also other research.
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to formulate the research design of his final thesis, as well as other research. It is able to choose adequate methods of problem solving and to implement them in practice. Based on the knowledge gained is able to focus on foreign research and identify their strengths and weaknesses.

Assessment methods and criteria

Student requirements include active attendance at seminars, at least 80%. Furthermore, the processing of the assigned task presented in the course.
