Learning outcomes
Students will learn about the development of sociology in the Czech lands. Get an overview of the major personalities and important works that have shaped sociology as a scientific discipline in our country.
The student is well informed in the development of Czech sociology.

Students are required to have at least 80% attendance at lectures and be active there. Furthermore they have to work on assigned task followed by its presentation. They also have to write an essay on a given topic.
