Learning outcomes |
Reading the basic texts on contemporary philosophy of art in English. Introduction to the basic terminology of aesthetics in English. Gaining proficiency in scholarly english and preparation for a bachelor thesis.
Students will acquire the following academic knowledge: - They will be able to read foreign texts in the philosophy of art and aesthetics - They will be able to interpret foreign language text in contemporary philosophy of art - They will be able to present their insights verbally. - They will learn how to write an abstract of their thesis in English. |
Prerequisites |
Sufficient command of English reading, writing and speaking on the B2 or C1 level. Orientatiion in history of aesthetic theory.
