Students will become familiar with the development of European political thinking and personalities and issues which played a key role in the political development of modern democracy and Rechtsstaat.
Students will acquire the following competences: - Ability to critically assess political theories and works of political thinkers of the 18th and 19th century - They should be able to produce independent scholarly studies on selected subjects of political philosophy of the 18th and 19th century. |
