The course builds on Ancient Greek I and requires knowledge corresponding to the first five lessons from the textbook C.W.E. Peckett, A.R. Munday, Thrasymachos: A New Greek Course. This course will continue in teaching basic grammar and essential vocabulary so that students will be able to read and translate ancient Greek texts selected (e.g. Aristotle's Categories). During the second semester, students should go through 6 to 10 lesson from the textbook C.W.E. Peckett, A.R. Munday, Thrasymachos: A New Greek Course.
Student will get acquainted with the following academic skills: - uses grammar and vocabulary in the range of 1 to 10 lessons from the textbook C.W.E. Peckett, A.R. Munday, Thrasymachos: A New Greek Course - is able to read and translate selected ancient Greek texts |
