Course content
1) Hermeneutics. Explanation of basic concepts 2) The history of hermeneutics. Specificity of Humanities (Schleiermacher, Dilthey, Neo-Kantian philosophers) 3) The Hermeneutics of facticity. (Heidegger) 4) The existential hermeneutics sense of being (Heidegger) 5) The Hermeneutics as art, humanities and history (Gadamer) 6) Theory of hermeneutics. Speech ontology (Gadamer) 7) Conflicting interpretations. Hermeneutics, psychoanalysis, structuralism (Ricoeur) 8) Hermeneutics texts. Narrative and Time hermeneutics(Ricoeur) 9) Critical hermeneutics (Habermas) 10) The role of hermeneutics in the theory of communicative action (Habermas) 11) The transcendental hermeneutics and pragmatics (Apel) 12) The transcendental hermeneutics of discourse ethics (Apel) 13) Protohermeneutics in a dispute about the meaning of Czech history (Masaryk, Pekař, Rádl, Patočka)
