This optional course aims to bring as much information about historical and cultural development of particularly mining towns on the Czech-Saxon border as possible. Attention will be paid to the development of the region of northwestern Bohemia in the Late Middle Ages and Early Modern Times (approx. the years 1550-1620) with respect to previous historical periods.
