Learning outcomes
The objective is to teach the students theoretical as well as practical basics of digital video. In the theoretical part we will introduce the issue of audiovisual work (preparing of the document, development of the recording, final processing and presentation). In the practical part we will pay attention to the taking and editing of the digital video. During the course we will stress the possibilities of use of video for documentation of the cultural heritage (architecture, small monuments in the countryside, etc.) and its presentation to expert and lay public.
The students are able to take and process an audio-visual work. They can use the acquired knowledge in documentation of tangible cultural heritage. They can use this knowledge and skills not only in conservation care and museum management, but also in visual documentation of the monuments and historical sites. The students can use these also for ongoing documentation and presentation of the results of a study or scientific task.
Prerequisites
To manage the practical part of the subject minimum knowledge of English language is necessary (editing programs are in English) as well as work with computer.
