Learning outcomes
The state final examination in History of Art tests knowledge of artistic development from prehistoric times to the 20th century, with an emphasis on the European continent and the Czech lands.

Prerequisites
Submission of the application for the state final examination assumes that the student has completed all compulsory courses and compulsory modules (block of compulsory elective courses) set out in the study plan of the relevant study programme and has also obtained a full number of credit points in accordance with the wording of the Study and Examination Rules for Bachelor and Master Programmes of the John Evngelista Purkyně University (Article 8, paragraphs 7 and 8).

Students are provided in advance with framework headings for the state final examination, which the examination board specifies in sub-questions. The student draws a question from the chosen period (premodern/modern), the second question is assigned to the drawn question proportionally.
