Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with a clear development of art history from the end of the 18th century to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Emphasis is placed on presenting stylistic developments and important personalities of the period. The course includes a visit to a permanent exhibition, exhibition or cultural monument.
The graduate demonstrates knowledge of the development of artistic creation from the emergence of classicism to the end of the 19th century. He is able to identify and date significant works of art and historical buildings, is familiar with the issues of individual schools, art centers and significant personalities. He has an overview of the basic titles of domestic and foreign literature.
