Course content
1. Theoretical aspects, organisational issues (addressed in the form of an individual working meeting in preparation for the internship) 2. Implementation of the internship at the selected and contracted National Heritage Institute workplace lasting 20 business days. 3. Evaluation of the content and fulfilment of the internship (in the form of an individual work meeting).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the Institutional internship I course is to enable students to acquire detailed knowledge of the working environment of the National Heritage Institute, its system, employment positions and expert and operational activities. Based on their own preferences, the student chooses either an internship at a regional specialist workplace, ensuring the care of the heritage fund in various regions in the Czech Republic, or at one of the buildings of the territorial heritage administration, ensuring the administration of state monuments.
This internship appropriately extends the theoretical knowledge acquired during studies. The student also gets a better idea of the possibilities of future employment and gets into contact with actual work in the field of study. They gain new knowledge and competences depending on the specific institution chosen.

Assessment methods and criteria

Full completion of the internship, trouble-free mastery of the tasks assigned by the guarantor of the subject and the authorised employee (or employees) of the host institution, an active approach. The credit is awarded based on a positive evaluation by the provider of the internship and the result of an interim check by the guarantor.
