Learning outcomes

The student demonstrates an overview knowledge of the cultural development of Renaissance Italy, European Mannerism, the Czech Renaissance, the Baroque in Europe and the Czech lands, and the main European and domestic artistic and cultural currents of the 19th and 20th centuries. In addition to this, the student has a basic knowledge of the terminology of the field and some partial knowledge of literature, theatr studies, musicology and othe fields. (S)he has an overview of the basic titles of domestic and foreign literature.
Prerequisites
1. Graduation from the course does not require previous graduation from any particular discipline. 2. The appropriate initial knowledge should at least cover the secondary-school history curricula. Knowledge of foreign languages is not required
