Learning outcomes
The aim of institutional practice is to enable students to get to know the working environment of their chosen professional institution, its system and working procedures. This option will not only suitably expand the theoretical knowledge acquired during the studies, but should also improve the graduate's future opportunities on the job market. With regard to the focus of the program, it is assumed that the student will complete the practice at the partner workplaces of the National Institute of Monuments (Ústí nad Labem, Liberec, Loket or the workplace of the ?PÚ ÚPS). In individual cases, it is possible to carry out the practice at other professional workplaces, in accordance with the topics of the qualification work (e.g. museum institutions, archaeological institutions, specialized companies, etc.)
The student has a concrete idea of the functioning of the chosen institution and knowledge of the specific job responsibilities of its employees. Based on this, he can better consider his future professional application. His professional knowledge and competences will also increase, enriched with theoretical and practical knowledge from the field of monument preservation or museum management (depending on the choice of institution).
