Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the works of important world and Czech architects, their theories and historical significance in the 19th and 20th centuries. The aim will also be to present the context of the era, the reflection of which was particularly evident in the architecture of the period under study.
The student is able to determine the characteristic features of historical architectural styles, can roughly date historical architecture, and knows the basic development of 20th century architecture.

Assessment methods and criteria

Attendance at lectures with a maximum of 3 absences and study of prescribed professional literature. The condition for completing the course is passing an oral exam.
