Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to synoptically introduce students to the development of history of fine arts in the gothic period. The course is an inseparable part of the system of lecturing history of fine arts on the bachelor´s study level, which - in the case of the fields Documentation of Historical Monuments and Cultural History - closes with final state examination.
The graduate demonstrates knowledge of the development of artistic creation in the Gothic period. He is able to identify and date significant works of art and historical buildings, is familiar with the issues of stylistic development and its differences in individual parts of Europe. He demonstrates detailed knowledge of the artistic development of Gothic in the Czech lands. He has an overview of the basic titles of domestic and foreign literature.

Assessment methods and criteria
|

Attendance with a maximum of 3 absences, continuous completion of assigned tasks (e.g. participation in guided tours of exhibitions and permanent art-historical expositions). Passing a written credit test and an oral exam.
