Learning outcomes
|
Deeper knowledge of the Middle Ages and the categories of medieval thought in the students of the follow-up master's degree. Stronger orientation in the issues of cultural history. Gaining awareness of the categories of contemporary consideration.
Students are familiar with the basic categories of medieval thought. They understand the peculiarities of medieval sources about the then culture. They can evaluate medieval cultural phenomena and individual manifestations. They can work with professional literature on the topic. They can apply theoretical background in the assessment of medieval culture.

1. None 2. An overview of the general history of the Middle Ages and orientation in the types of medieval sources. Basic passive orientation in Latin is welcome.
