The aim of the course is to deepen theoretical knowledge from lectures on the history of culture, the history of architecture and the history of fine arts in the form of one-day excursions, prepared in cooperation with experts from other professional institutions and other organizations and associations (National Institute of Cultural Heritage, museums, galleries, religious administration, associations for the protection of monuments). The topics of the excursions change each semester. The primary focus is on destinations in the area of northern and western Bohemia, or Saxony or Prague. The excursion takes the form of a visit and a commented tour of a group of selected monuments and places, usually forming a whole with a certain thematic connection.
