Combined form of study 1. Partner institutions of the Faculty of Arts - overview of the possibilities of realization of foreign experience; possibilities of research stays in foreign libraries, specific conditions of the border region 2. Erasmus+ programme - possibilities of teaching mobility and practical internship 3. Conditions and possibilities of trips to Germany, Austria, Poland and Slovakia - specific programmes and their 4. The pitfalls of presenting one's own research to a foreign audience - creating a presentation, poster 5. Presentation of the results of individual foreign trips of the course participants

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to enable students to establish international professional contacts that will contribute to deepening and broadening their own research opportunities, together with improving their language skills. The main aim of the course is to provide students with a broader overview of the possibilities of foreign internships, which will enable them to get acquainted with new research topics of experts abroad in relation to scientific institutions in the Czech Republic, which deal with historiographical topics or methods that are unconventional in the Czech context. The comprehensive focus of the course offers a wide spectrum of implementation, which may take the form of completing part of the study at a foreign institution, a long-term research internship at a professional foreign institution, participation in an international project with results published or presented abroad, active participation in an international conference, or another form of direct participation of the student in international cooperation.
The student can communicate in a world language at a professional level and can present the results of his/her research activities. He/she is able to prepare his/her own presentation in the form of a poster, study or an annotated presentation in the world language. The student is familiar with the offer of foreign internships at the Faculty of Arts, is able to select the type of internship relevant to his/her research activity and complete the formalities necessary for its completion.
Prerequisites
1. No conditional subjects. 2. Knowledge of a world language at a professional level necessary to present the results of own research activities.

Assessment methods and criteria

Participation in teaching + presentation of own foreign experience in the form of a long-term internship, short-term research stay or active participation in an international conference, or demonstration of competence in a foreign language at the academic level, e.g. by preparing a professional study.
