Learning outcomes

The aim of the Individual internship course is to enable students to acquire detailed knowledge of the working environment of an institution/office/company/building operating in cultural heritage management and presentation or a related field (chosen individually after prior consultation with the guarantor), which the student has chosen as their (potential) employer. This internship is intended to serve as a kind of transition between the completion of their studies and their practical professional employment. Depending on the length of the internship, it may be possible to spread it over several separate periods (especially for combined study students) after agreement with the provider institution. During their internship, the student is actively involved in the performance of assigned tasks and the work activities of the chosen institution.
The student specifies their idea of their future employment at a given workplace, or in an institution of a similar type and expert focus, and acquires new concrete competencies depending on the specific selected institution. This final internship gives students the opportunity to make contacts that will help them when searching for a job.
