Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to synoptically introduce students to the development of historiy of fine arts from the beginning of Italian Renaissance to the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries. Emphasis is laid on overall historical context, selected artisctic personalities and individual significant plaxes and cultural centres.
The graduate demonstrates knowledge of the development of artistic creation from the Renaissance to the era of Rudolphine Prague Mannerism. The student is able to identify and identify important works of art and historical buildings, and is oriented in the issues of individual schools, artistic centres and important personalities. He/she has an overview of the basic titles of domestic and foreign literature.
