Content focus of assistant teaching practice: - pedagogical work with pupils at the 2nd level of primary and secondary school - helping the teacher prepare for lessons - involvement in direct and indirect pedagogical activities in the position of a teaching assistant - pedagogical communication with pupils

Learning outcomes
The aim of the practice is to cooperate with the teacher on direct educational activities not only for pupils with special educational needs, but also to help in communication between pupils and between pupils and teachers. The student is in the role of a teaching assistant.
The student will acquire the skills to cooperate with the teacher on direct educational activities not only for pupils with special educational needs, but also to help in communication between pupils and between pupils and the teacher.
Prerequisites
Completion of previous teaching practice in logical continuity. These are observational teaching practice and clinical pedagogical practice.

Assessment methods and criteria

The student will complete 20 hours of practice at a fully organized primary or secondary school. At the beginning of the practice, the student will complete 4 observation hours, followed by assistant hours in a subject corresponding to the study program. The lessons are analyzed. The student will keep a pedagogical diary, which will be submitted to the subject didactic after the end of the assistant practice. The pedagogical diary becomes part of the portfolio of teaching practice. The student chooses the school facility independently in agreement with the CODP FF UJEP.
