Course content
|
The content focus of the preparatory seminar for teaching practice is based on the need to prepare the student for clinical and assistant practice and to equip him/her with sufficient theoretical foundations for the successful completion of teaching practices. 1. Organization of the curriculum of the educational fields of Man and Society 2. Portfolio in the preparation of a teacher for teaching 3. Preparation of a portfolio for teaching practice 4. Effective teaching methods and forms of work in history lessons 5. Analysis of existing textbooks and teaching materials for teaching history 6. Specifics of teaching history in primary and secondary schools

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to familiarize the general part with the school system, the basics of school legislation, curricular documents, organization and work safety in school facilities. The subject part is to familiarize the didactic transformation of the curriculum for specific school levels. The course runs simultaneously with clinical and assistant practice and reflects its course.
Students will be introduced to the school system of the Czech Republic, the basics of school legislation, curricular documents, organization and safety of work in school facilities. In the subject-specific part, the organization of the curriculum within the framework of the RVP and SVP, existing textbooks and teaching materials for history, and the creation of a portfolio for pedagogical practice.

The student simultaneously completes the Clinical and Assistantship courses.

Assessment methods and criteria

Students actively participate in the seminar and, during the semester, they process the relevant part of the portfolio of pedagogical practices.
